How do credits work?

Text-to-Speech has two models: Fonada V1 (system voices) at 10 characters = 1 credit, and Klone V2 Pro (Voice Arena cloned/community voices) at 0.5 credits per character. Speech-to-Text: 1 second = 0.5 credits. Noise cancellation: 1 second = 0.3 credits. Video Dubbing: 5,000 credits per minute of source video. AI Podcast Studio uses Fonada V1 rates for system voices and Klone V2 Pro rates for cloned speakers.

How is Text to Speech priced — Klone V2 Pro vs Fonada V1?

Text to Speech is billed per model. Fonada V1 uses pre-built system voices at 10 characters = 1 credit (0.1 credits per character). Klone V2 Pro uses Voice Arena cloned and community voices at 0.5 credits per character (1 credit per 2 characters); some premium Voice Arena voices apply a credit multiplier on top of that base rate — for example, a 2x voice on 100 characters costs 100 credits (50 base × 2).

Do credits expire?

Paid credits stay available until your plan period ends (renewal/end date in Console). Buy More Credits adds credits immediately, carries over your unused balance, and starts a fresh one-month period—so both your validity and next auto-renew date reset to one month from the purchase date. Monthly auto-renew resets your balance to the plan allowance each cycle; unused credits do not roll over. If the plan expires without payment, remaining credits are removed when your account downgrades to Free (8,000 credits).

Can I buy more credits?

On your current plan, use Buy More Credits to recharge: your unused credits carry over onto the new balance, and a fresh subscription starts so your validity and next auto-renew date both reset to one month from the purchase date.
